Here is a simple and easy way to spice up any thing you write, and ensure your mail is the most memorable amongst all your acquaintances and friends.

The following is a list of sentences, showing without a doubt how the addition of just a few extra, well placed words, ensures your writing takes off with a running bang! --

ORDINARY: It's been a quiet day today, and the most I've accomplished is a little housework.
EXTRAORDINARY: It's been a relaxing, calm day so far, and I've bravely tackled a few of my more strenuous house chores.

ORDINARY: Our weather has been mild, with just a little rain.
EXTRAORDINARY: Our weather has been blessedly and delightfully mild, with just the gentlest pattering of a warm rain shower, every now and then.

ORDINARY: My daughter visited us this weekend, and everyone had a nice time.
EXTRAORDINARY: My daughter paid a surprise visit this weekend, and we partied and enjoyed each others splendid company into the wee hours of Sunday morning!

ORDINARY: Since I have gained a lot of weight lately, I will begin cutting back on Monday.
EXTRAORDINARY: It appears I have gained a substantial amount of unwanted weight lately, meaning on Monday I'll be declaring an 'all out war' on those despicable extra pounds!

ORDINARY: My goodness, our new puppy is causing so much stress in the household.
EXTRAORDINARY: Heavens above, our new puppy is proving to be an all out dynamo of friskiness and unabashed energy, causing the entire household to bend under the stress of training him!

ORDINARY: I have taken up a new hobby, which is proving to be more difficult than expected.
EXTRAORDINARY: I have plunged headfirst into a brand new hobby, but am finding it to be causing any number of frustrating headaches and difficulties, instead of the calmness I'd hoped.

ORDINARY: Sorry not to be in touch lately, but I am hoping to write more often in the coming weeks.
EXTRAORDINARY: Sorry not to have written much of late, but I am bound and determined to make the extra time in the coming weeks to be in touch much more consistently.

ORDINARY: I have bought a nice dress for the reunion party this Saturday night.
EXTRAORDINARY: I have purchased a drop-dead gorgeous little black dress, in preparation for the much anticipated gala reunion party this Saturday night.

ORDINARY: We watched a lovely movie this weekend, while having popcorn and cokes at home.
EXTRAORDINARY: My goodness but we rented the most fabulous movie this weekend, and enjoyed it thoroughly while cosily munching on popcorn and cokes from our living room.
