Using English successfully in non-English speaking Countries
Examples of a slightly more sophisticated style of expressing yourself in English, which may prove invaluable if you are visiting a non-English speaking Country that includes a high number of English Language-knowledgeable hospitality venues .
"My my but it's such a tremendous relief to vacation in your splendid surroundings!"
"I'm curious, would you say your weather in(insert Country-in- Question here) this past summer was seasonal?"
"Does your hotel restaurant offer a menu that includes both Canadian and American selections?"
"As usual, with every return visit to your resplendid accommodations, I am again pleasantly surprised with the exceptional service!"
"Don't you think it's outrageously insane we cannot find an authentic Indian Eatery (Insert personal dining preference here) around here?"
"I would like to know if there is a Post Office within walking distance of our hotel room?"
"Would you be so kind as to inform me of the nearest Laundromat?"
"Does the Taxi companies accept Foreign Money, or do I need to obtain Travelers Cheques?"
